AAUW-WW 58th Annual Book Sale

The 58th Annual American Association of University Women (AAUW) Book Sale will take place February 24 – 26, 2023, at the Marcus Whitman Hotel.

Sunday, 9 am – 4 pm
The Book Sale features a huge selection (approximately 40,000) of high-quality paperback and hardback fiction and nonfiction books, children’s books, DVDs, CDs, and audio books, in addition to collectibles. Patrons can find books for their own reading pleasure, as well as gifts, such as coffee table books, cookbooks, golden oldies, or the latest bestseller.
The books are organized into 40 well-marked categories, including the following:

Fiction books (except Western fiction) will be alphabetized by author’s last name; titles by popular authors will be grouped together in their respective section so shoppers can easily find their favorites.
Price range ($0.50 – $4 for most items), as follows:

Children (age 14 and younger) may select one free book of their choosing from either the picture or chapter book categories.
Payment types accepted: credit and debit cards, checks, and cash.
Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own bags on Friday and Saturday. However, paper bags will be available for shoppers every day of the sale. On Sunday, when books are $15 per bag, the paper bags must be used, so that all shoppers’ bags are the same size. Shoppers are welcome to transfer their books to their own bags on Sunday after they check out.


The book sale is sponsored in part by the Walla Walla Community College John Deere Program, Automotive Technology Program, Commercial Truck Driving Program, and Women’s Basketball Team.
