A very special congratulations to our community grant recipients! This past year has posed special challenges for all of us, and our local non-profits have been hit especially hard. We are grateful for the continued support of our AAUW fundraisers in 2020, as this has enabled us to be able to award these grants to the following organizations.
2021 Recipients ($12, 645 total grants disbursed )
Blue Mt. Health Cooperative, GESA Powerhouse Theater, Shakespeare Walla Walla, Blue Mountain Action Council, Walla Walla Child Advocates (formerly CASA), Prescott School Library and Fort Walla Walla Museum
2020 Recipients ($15,000 total grants disbursed)
YMCA, Hope Street House, Reach Out & Read, Ft. Walla Walla Museum, STAR project, Children’s Home Society, Walla Walla Police Department (Victim Interview Room), Walla Walla Public Library, Prescott School Library, Walla Walla Area Crime Watch
AAUW raises funds for women’s scholarships and community projects.
To be considered for an AAUW-WW Mini-Grant, projects must be local, address our mission, and provide visibility for the branch.
